How do you reset Spectrum cable box?

How do you reset Spectrum cable box?
There are many reasons why you may need to restart your TV's cable box. B. Programs that do not load properly, freezing videos or blank screens. When you reset the box, first navigate to the Settings menu and look for a restart option. If your screen is frozen or you can't find a menu option, check your cable box for a manual reset button. You can also unplug the box to perform a hard restart if the other fixes don't work. If you're still having problems, contact your cable provider to fix the problem.

If you have problems with your charter internet connection, the modem may need to be reset to the factory settings. This is one of the most useful troubleshooting steps and definitely one of the first things you should try before contacting Spectrum live chat support.

Here's everything you need to fill out this guide:
Reset gateway (modem / router combination)
If you have a modem / router combination device, also known as a gateway, you can simply reset it.
1.      Disconnect the modem from the mains. Unplug the power cord and remove all batteries from the device.
2.      Leave the gateway alone for at least 30 seconds.
3.      Reinsert the batteries and reconnect the power cord.
4.      Leave the device alone for at least 2 minutes. The lights shine for this step instead of blinking.
5.      Check your network connection. You should be able to reach the internet.
If that doesn't work, try to find a small recessed button on the back of your modem. If this reset button is present, press it with a stylus for 30 seconds until the router restarts.

Reset the modem with a separate router
If you are using two devices - a modem and a router - you will need to do this to reset both.
1.      Disconnect the modem from the power supply by unplugging the power cord and removing the batteries.
2.      Disconnect the power cord from the router.
3.      Leave both devices alone for at least 30 seconds.
4.      Plug the power cord back into the modem and reinsert all removed batteries.
5.      Leave the modem alone for at least 2 minutes. The displays on the modem light up continuously instead of flashing.
6.      Plug the power cord back into the router.
7.      Leave the router alone for about 2 minutes while it is online again.
8.      Check your network connection. You should be able to reach the internet.
